When the CSCS Account Manager, project PI or Deputy PI invites the users they will receive an invitation email if the invited user has an existing CSCS account then the user clicks on the URL from the email and log-in with a username, password, OTP, and accept the invitation whereas if the invited user is new then the user needs to follow the step-by-step instructions below to get an account.
- On accessing the URL, the user will be redirected to the first step of registration where he can click on "Create a new account" or "Decline" the invitation
- Clicking the "Create a new account" button will lead the user to the 2nd step where he needs to provide his personal information as shown below
- On submitting personal information users should wait for CSCS to review
- Once the CSCS staff reviews and accepts the user registration, the User will receive an email where he was provided with a link to set the password
- User click on the link and follow the requirements to set the password as shown below,
- The registration procedure is done and the user can use the link from the landed page (as shown below) and try to login to the CSCS portal or the user can also find the URL from the registration completion email
- An email with the login URL and useful documentation links will be provided in the Registration Completion email as shown below,
- When a user clicks on the Login URL, he will be landed on the CSCS Login page where users key in their username, password
- Setup OTP as the user is login for the first time, Scan the QR code using an authenticator app on your preferred device
- Enter the OTP, Device name and click on Submit to complete the MFA setup
- The User will land on the new portal for the first time where it asks the user to accept or decline the invitation
- On accepting the invitation, as the user is login for the first time to the CSCS portal it asks the user to review & agree with the terms of service as well as the privacy policy
- Finally, the user lands on the User Dashboard on the CSCS portal as shown below,
