CSCS Account Managers, PIs and deputy PIs can invite users to the respective projects following the below steps on CSCS's new project management portal:
- After login to the portal, the above users will land on the Organizations page where the above said user needs to choose the corresponding organization in which the project was created.
- In this example, The project was hosted by the CSCS organization, and say the project name is "csstaff_n", From the organization dashboard navigate to Projects and click on csstaff_n Project
- From the project dashboard, Navigate to Team → Invitations
- On the right-hand side, Click on Invite User
- Enter the Invitee's email address and assign a role (PI, Deputy PI, Member)
Alternatively, The CSCS Account manager, PI, or Deputy PI can invite users in bulk by preparing a CSV and uploading it in this step (Sample CSV)
P.S: In the above screenshot Project administrator is equivalent to PI, Project manager is equivalent to Deputy PI) and Click on the + icon on the left-hand side to invite more users to the same project
- You can also enter a custom message just in case there is any additional information that you would like to share with the user while onboarding and click on the "Send invitation" button.
- That's it, User(s) will get an email to complete the onboarding process.
Note: Existing users should click on the link in the email they received, and authenticate against CSCS KeyCloak with username, password, and OTP to accept the invitation. New users should follow the procedure to create a CSCS account.
